During the Christmas holidays, from December 20th to January 4th, discover a festive, joyful and convivial program. An opportunity to (re)discover the Historial Jeanne d’Arc in a unique atmosphere, blending Christmas magic and the beauty of heritage.

The History Museum for Toddlers
From the world of fairy tales to the story of one of the most impressive epics in history, there is only one step!
During this activity, children discover the story of Joan of Arc through a story specially created for them.

The digital tour
From the Gothic crypt to the Grand Attic, the walls of the Archbishop’s Palace in Rouen come alive for a complete immersion in the epic story of Joan of Arc. Let yourself be transported to the 15th century!

The myth library
Following the digital tour, discover the Mythothèque: 3 multimedia rooms dedicated to the legacy of Joan of Arc which examine the construction of her myth through the centuries.
The digital tour
Immerse yourself in the heart of the 15th century, to follow the captivating investigation led by Jean Juvénal des Ursins, archbishop of Reims and mastermind of the second trial of Joan of Arc. From room to room, through an immersive digital journey, the centuries-old walls of the Archiepiscopal Palace come to life and reveal the true story of Joan of Arc.


The archbishopric
At the foot of Rouen Cathedral, the Historial takes place in the very place where the destiny of Joan of Arc was decided, the archbishopric palace of Rouen. This monument houses the remains of the so-called “Officiality” room, where Joan’s conviction was pronounced in 1431, and where her rehabilitation trial took place in 1456.
