In 2025, the Historial celebrated its 10th anniversary

In 2025, the Historial Jeanne d’Arc celebrated its first decade. Through the “10 Years with a Beating Heart” program, the institution kept the spirit of its heroine alive while reaffirming its commitments to accessibility, equality, and the environment. This tenth anniversary was an opportunity to proudly uphold the values ​​of courage and perseverance that have driven it since its inception.

The archbishopric

At the foot of Rouen Cathedral, the Historial takes place in the very place where the destiny of Joan of Arc was decided, the archbishopric palace of Rouen. This monument houses the remains of the so-called “Officiality” room, where Joan’s conviction was pronounced in 1431, and where her rehabilitation trial took place in 1456.
